Starting with the looks, the GLC retains most of the familiar shape and touches of the normal version, but now properly set apart by an imposing illuminated front fascia that could take a while to get used to. The rear features a full light bar LED design that also helps distinguish it from non-EQ tech models.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ technology comes with a 94 kWh battery pack that, at its most powerful spec, produces 483 hp, but perhaps the most impressive statistic is the range; the GLC with EQ technology can go up as far as 713 KM on a single full charge of battery. Other notable upgrades are to the suspension, which is an Airmatic type that can also be found in the S-Class. The sophisticated suspension has the ability to keep the ride on a level and smooth, while also having the ability to scan the road ahead and adjust itself accordingly. A rear steering feature and, of course, a plethora of active safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and parking assist ensure safety and maneuverability.

Keeping the interior in tune with the overall theme, the leather used is vegan. However, dominating the interior space is the Mercedes-Benz patented hyperscreen, which in the GLC with EQ technology comes in a 39.1-inch form. This massive screen fully integrates the infotainment and instrument cluster in a seamless manner. The Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ is set for launch sometime Q2 of 2026.
