Mercedes-Benz unveils updated 2025 G-Class – Features more power and tech

Mercedes-Benz has proudly unveiled the latest iteration of its legendary off-road vehicle, the all-new Mercedes-Benz G-Class. This new model continues the storied success story of its predecessors since its inception in 1979 but also marks a significant leap forward in terms of performance, technology, and customization.

Retaining its classic design elements and renowned off-road capabilities, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz G 550 is equipped with electrified engines that promise enhanced responsiveness and comfort. Featuring a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine, the G 550 delivers an impressive 443 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque, complemented by a 48-volt integrated starter generator (ISG) for added performance and efficiency.

One of the standout features of the new G-Class is its innovative MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, which includes a 12.3-inch driver display and central multimedia display with touch control.
