MIAS 2024 – Brave newcomer JAC Motors showcases 6 models

JAC Motors officially marks its entry into the PH market with its participation in this year’s MIAS. For the next 4 days, the brand’s 6-model lineup will be on display for everyone to see, and it includes the JS4, JS6, JS8 Pro, T8 Pro, T9, and the brand’s first Battery Electric Vehicle, the Ytterby.

JS4

With its distinct design and prime amenities, the JS4 can seat 5 adults in a sleek SUV package. You can’t miss it with its parallel geometric front grill and its inverted-7 LED headlights. On the inside, amenities include automatic climate control, connectivity options like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, impressive interior space, and a big cargo area.

As the brand’s premium flagship model, the JS6 embodies the brand’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and driving pleasure. Both its interior and exterior design have taken on a futuristic look, while it likewise boasts of state-of-the-art technology and remarkable engine performance.

Its main highlights include a 1.5-liter turbo engine along with impressive features which include a one-button start functionality, a 24.6-inch dual-screen display, a 360-degree panoramic camera, convenient smartphone wireless charging, multiple airbags, and leather seats.

JS8 Pro

Of course, there is also something for those on the hunt for an SUV in the JS8 Pro. With space enough for 7, it provides spacious and comfortable seating for passengers and a driver. A capable SUV, its exterior features a striking star waterfall armor front grille, threading rear lights, illuminated scuff plates, split headlamps with deep space radium lighting, and 19-inch five-rim sport wheels.

Inside, it comes with a 360-degree skylight panoramic sunroof, plush seating, a 12.3-inch floating screen, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, multiple charging outlets and charging ports, plus ample and convenient storage spaces.

Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbo engine.

T8 Pro and T9

 

Those who prefer pickups are in for not just one but two pickups on display. The T8 Pro and T9 are positioning themselves as the ideal companions for country explorations and commercial applications.

Engineered to tackle all terrains with ease, the Pro is built for fleet owners and business operators. Leather and chrome accents are spread across the interior and are complemented by a multifunction steering wheel that controls audio and cruise functions, along with seamless connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The addition of rear air vents and USB sockets add convenience to the spacious passenger area, while the power sunroof floods the cabin with natural light.

This model is powered by a potent 2.0-liter CTI engine that puts out 167 HP and 410 Nm of torque.

As for the T9, its muscular design and eye-catching grille make a powerful statement, making sure that it stands out from the crowd. The interior features a laser brushed texture dashboard, a spacious 10.4” vertical screen, and luxurious premium leather seats. Cabin amenities include a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, a cooled armrest box, and a remote-controlled lock-rear box. Multiple charging options, including 50w wireless USB, Type C, and 220V outlets, ensure that devices remain powered throughout every journey.

As for capability and performance, power is by way of a 2.0-liter CTI engine that makes 167 HP and delivers 410 Nm of torque, and it also boasts a 210mm ground clearance and a maximum wading depth of 1200mm.

Ytterby

Stealing the show is the brand’s newest – and cutest – battery electric vehicle, the Ytterby. As quirky as its name, it features performance, cutting-edge technology, and eco-friendliness. It features a 12.8-inch high-definition touchscreen, a 360-degree panoramic sunroof, and parking assistance, setting a new standard in electric vehicle innovation. That being mentioned, it is capable of a maximum mileage of 505 kilometers!
