GWM Philippines has a lot in store for 2026, and they’ve already previewed three of their up coming models at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show.
GWM Tank 700 Hi-4Z

Taking center stage is the GWM Tank 700 Hi-4Z, the brand’s newest addition to the GWM lineup. In fact, it was only revealed in China a few weeks back, and the Philippines is the first market outside of China to feature this model.
Given that it’s only a preview, specific details regarding the Tank 700 Hi-4Z have yet to be revealed. In China, the SUV features a plug-in hybrid powertrain that uses a 2.0L turbocharged engine paired with two electric motors and a large battery pack.
Haval H7 PHEV

In addition to the new Tank 700 Hi-4Z, GWM also introduced the Haval H7 PHEV. It’s noticeably smaller than the Tank Hi-4Z, meaning it might be a more practical choice for some looking for a new SUV.
While it is smaller, it retains the same boxy design as the Tank 700 and the Haval H9 sibling. Similarly, it is also a plug-in hybrid. Under the hood, it packs a smaller 1.5L engine and two electric motors.

It will soon be on sale, and GWM Philippines is even accepting pre-orders for this electrified SUV at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show
GWM Ora 05 EV

The GWM Ora 05 is probably the cutest vehicle at the brand’s booth. It is a battery electric vehicle (BEV) with styling similar to the Ora 03. GWM Philippines will begin offering this cute electric crossover later this year.
Similar to the other Tank 700 Hi-4Z, full details have yet to be revealed for the Philippine market. In other markets, the Ora 05 is available with a 58.3kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor and with around 500 kilometers of driving range.

The Ora 05 is also available as a hybrid in other markets, and it might be offered here as well.
If any of these new GWM models pique your interest, you may check them out in person at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show.
