Nissan will showcase a diverse lineup at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon

Nissan is set to captivate automotive enthusiasts at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, offering a glimpse into the future of electric racing and innovative vehicle customization. Scheduled to take place at Makuhari Messe from January 12 to 14, 2024, the event will feature an array of cutting-edge vehicles, including the eagerly anticipated Gen3 car set to compete in Japan’s inaugural Formula E “Tokyo E-Prix” in March 2024.

The star of the show is undeniably the Nissan e-4ORCE 04 Formula E racecar, the third-generation machine unveiled in December 2022. This all-electric racecar, adorned with an eye-catching cherry blossom flower design symbolizing Japan, is poised to make a statement at the upcoming Formula E Championship in Tokyo.

In addition to the Formula E racer, Nissan will showcase an impressive lineup of concept vehicles, each pushing the boundaries of design and functionality. One notable exhibit is the Disaster Support Mobile-Hub, a customized model based on the Caravan. Designed to serve as a lifeline in times of disaster, it is equipped with multiple sets of “Portable Battery from LEAF” to provide essential support in disaster-stricken areas.

The X-Trail Crawler Concept, derived from the authentic SUV model X-Trail, introduces a boosted off-road flavor and enhanced toughness. Its rugged exterior reflects a spirit of adventure, ready to conquer steep and rough terrains, while the luggage area contains tools essential for off-road enthusiasts.

For those with a penchant for style, the Roox Beams Customized Concept, based on the new Roox launched in June, showcases the collaboration with the Japanese fashion house Beams. Featuring versatile denim fabric for both interior and exterior decoration, the vehicle exudes a playful and stylish charm, inviting everyone to embark on a stylish journey.

The March Customized Concept explores a unique way of cherishing used cars, embodying the spirit of the Cube Refreshed & Retro Concept from the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023. Tailored for a pastry chef, this concept aims to resonate with young individuals who have found their vocation, blending style and inner strength.

AUTECH, Nissan Motorsports & Customization (NMC), contributes to the lineup with the X-Trail Autech Sports Spec Concept and Serena Autech Sports Spec Concept. These concepts inherit NMC’s craftsmanship and infuse sporty and luxurious elements into the X-Trail and Serena models, promising a premium driving experience with a focus on quality in both design and performance.

The booth will also feature established models, such as the Nissan GT-R NISMO and Fairlady Z NISMO, showcasing exclusive aerodynamics and tuning for optimal performance. The Skyline NISMO, developed as the ultimate GT car, combines aerodynamics and chassis technologies, reflecting NISMO’s racing expertise to deliver a driving performance and appearance that epitomize the legacy of the Skyline GT.
