All alternate routes for partial road closure of Quirino Ave. to Zapote effective March 17, 2023
Heads up to everyone coming to and from Paranaque. A temporary road closure of parts of Quirino Avenue going toward Zapote Road has been implemented starting March 17, 2023. The closure is to make way for the drainage construction tapping to Outfall, relative to the C5 Southlink Expressway Project. Everyone is asked to take note of the alternate routes.
Rerouting for Quirino Ave.-Zapote Road road closure

Because of the drainage construction, the road closure will mean rerouting of traffic flow. Specifically, the roadwork will be located 500 meters after Kabihasnan intersection. A portion of Quirino Ave. going to Baclaran will be used for vehicles bound to Baclaran and the other portion for motorists bound to Zapote (Las Piñas).

Vehicles are advised to use the following route for the duration of the road closure.
Victor Medina St. / Kabihasnan Rd., to Dr. A. Santos Ave., to SM Sucat C5 extension, to C5 exit to Villa Real St., to Quirino Ave., and vice versa.

Though the start date was mentioned, there was no mention of the duration nor the projected completion date of the project; hence, the partial road closure will be until further notice. Everyone is advised to expect moderate to heavy traffic in and around these areas of Paranaque.
