Ford Philippines has officially entered the electric vehicle (EV) market with the launch of the all-new Mustang Mach-E, its first fully electric model in the country. This is launched alongside the new Territory Hybrid.

The Mustang Mach-E is offered in the Premium All-Wheel Drive Extended Range variant and brings together electric performance, modern technology, and signature Mustang styling. According to Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines, the Mach-E represents “a purpose-built all-electric vehicle” designed for the growing Mustang community in the country.

The Mach-E is powered by dual permanent magnet synchronous motors that deliver all-wheel drive, producing 290 kW (394 PS) and 676 Nm of torque. It comes with an 88kWh extended-range lithium-ion NCM battery, offering a WLTP-estimated range of up to 550 kilometers.

Charging options include both Type 2 (AC) and CCS2 (DC) ports. It supports AC charging up to 11kW and DC fast charging up to 150kW. Using a 150kW DC charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 36 to 45 minutes.
The vehicle offers three drive modes: Whisper, Engage, and Unbridle. Each adjusts throttle response, steering, and other settings to match driver preferences. A One-Pedal Drive system also allows drivers to accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator, with regenerative braking helping to recharge the battery.

The Mach-E retains key Mustang design elements like the fastback silhouette and tri-bar tail lamps. Other features include 19-inch machine-finished aluminum wheels, a drainable front trunk, a panoramic glass roof, and an E-Latch system that replaces traditional door handles for improved aerodynamics.

Inside, it features perforated ActiveX synthetic leather seats with 10-way power adjustment for front occupants, heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control. A 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.5-inch SYNC 4A infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard. Sound is provided by a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.

Cargo space totals 402 liters in the rear, expandable to 1,420 liters with the rear seats folded, plus an additional 80 liters in the front trunk.

The Mustang Mach-E is equipped with FordPass Connect, allowing remote access and management via mobile devices. Features include remote start, climate control, EV charging management, and charge history tracking.

Safety features include nine airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program, traction control, and a 360-degree camera. Advanced driver-assist systems include Collision Mitigation, Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Reverse Brake Assist, and Driver Impairment Monitoring.

The Mustang Mach-E is priced at PHP 3,499,000 and is available in five colors: Glacier Grey, Star White, Shadow Black, Velocity Blue, and Grabber Yellow. Each purchase includes a free 3.5kW portable charger and a 7kW wall box charger.
