Jeep has confirmed that the Cherokee nameplate will return in late 2025. This upcoming model is separate from the current Grand Cherokee and is expected to mark a new generation for the nameplate.

Official specifications have not yet been released, but the upcoming Cherokee may offer familiar engine options. These could include the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Jeep may also introduce an electrified variant, which aligns with the brand’s broader move toward electrification.

More details are expected closer to launch later this year.
