The petroleum product gods are smiling on us again, it seems, as yet another fuel price rollback is set to happen tomorrow, November 14. In the past months, the prices of both gasoline and diesel kept on rising to costs many thought wouldn’t be reached, but alas, were. But tomorrow brings good news because a PHPÂ gas and a more significant PHPÂ diesel price reduction are set to be applied.
Fuel prices go down again, and we can only hope it continues
It’s been some time since we have had a streak of fuel price rollbacks, but tomorrow brings news that many have hoped for, for a long time now. There will be no split “good and bad” news because both gasoline and diesel prices will go down per liter, the former by PHP 0.70, and the latter by a bigger and more significant PHP 3.00.
We can expect the earliest adjustments to be made by Cleanfuel and Caltex; both normally update their pumps with lower prices at the stroke of midnight. Other players will also implement the fuel price update, albeit a little later at 6:00 AM.
Seeing as how the consistent rise in gas and diesel seemed to have no end, consecutive rollbacks like this do give hope to a lot of us. To feel a “pinch” is an understatement as costs continue to skyrocket, but if this trend keeps up, then we may just get to more comfortable costs every time we top our tanks up.
It never hurts to be conscious about how we drive and save on fuel, though, so here are a few reminders on how we think you can make the best out of every top-up you get. We can’t be certain if this streak of good news on fuel prices will continue until next week, so best that we still be as frugal and practical as we can be, right?
Until then, let’s enjoy this great news. Happy start of the week, everyone! Drive safely out there!
