Manufacturer brands showcased their vehicles at PIMS 2022 and mostly had passenger cars on display. Foton decided to do everyone better by displaying their passenger pickup, the Thunder, and an entire lineup of trucks and commercial vehicles as well. In an effort to empower Filipino businesses, they unveiled their latest addition to their range of powerful, reliable, and fuel-efficient trucks at the past week’s Show.
Foton: Empowering Filipino businesses
Mobility and businesses have begun bouncing back after the recent global crisis. If you’re in the business of helping others move their products and people, like Foton is, the Philippine International Motor Show was the perfect place to show just what your (their) brand can bring and help you with.
“It is perfect timing that the theme of this year’s Philippine International Motor Show is Innovation for Mobility + Humanity. This is exactly what we want to advocate in these challenging times—mobility for the betterment of humanity. And we cannot achieve that without true innovation—which is a hallmark of FOTON trucks and commercial vehicles,” Erroll E. Dueñas, United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) and FMPI President
Serving as the centerpiece of their display was the new EST-A 6×4 Tractor Head. Powered by a US-designed Cummins heavy-duty ISGE5-460 engine, the EST-A 6×4 Tractor Head can handle demanding loads and long-haul drives, which is crucial in the trucking business. It also features a double-decker sleeping cabin of the EST-A 6×4 Tractor Head provides spaces for drivers to rest during tiring long-haul drives, preventing accidents and other unforeseen situations, while enhancing productivity.
Given how fuel prices in the country and the entire world have been in constant flux, Foton is confident in the EST-A 6×4 Tractor Head’s ability to consume 15% less fuel than other conventional manual transmission tractor heads, generating huge savings on fuel costs in both the short and long term.
Of course, Foton didn’t stop there. Among the other models that the brand showcased included the popular and affordable Gratour MT Wingvan, the highly versatile Gratour MT Tool Truck, the fuel-efficient Transvan DO1, the luxuriously spacious Traveller XL, the capable Harabas TM300 Dropside, and the dependable Tornado M2.6C Ref Van.
“We are delighted to unveil and showcase FOTON’s latest line of trucks and commercial vehicles, which are all designed to match and exceed any mobility challenge with their world-class engineering, technology, and performance,” Dueñas later added.
If you weren’t able to catch their exhibit at PIMS this year, you can call your nearest Foton dealer for any inquiries you may have about their trucks and other vehicles.
