Audi Q5 Hybrid is now in the Philippines: 3 variants available, including SQ5

Audi Philippines has officially launched the all-new Q5 Hybrid in the country, introducing a refreshed premium SUV built on the brand’s Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), which it shares with the latest Audi A5 models.

The new Q5 adopts a more modern and sportier design while maintaining everyday usability. It features a strong shoulder line and a more assertive front fascia, aligning with Audi’s latest design language. Buyers can choose from three variants: Premium, S line, and the performance-oriented SQ5, along with a palette of multiple color options, including exclusive finishes for S models.

Inside, Audi emphasizes functionality and digital integration. The cabin features a user-focused layout with high-quality materials, highlighted by the Audi MMI Panoramic Display and the Audi Virtual Cockpit. A key feature is the adjustable rear seat, which slides and reclines to improve passenger comfort or expand cargo capacity. With the rear seats folded, total luggage space reaches up to 1,473 liters.

The Philippine-spec Q5 Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI inline-four gasoline engine paired with Audi’s proprietary hybrid electric system. This setup produces 240 hp and 340 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission driving the front wheels. The system enhances efficiency while providing additional power support during acceleration. The SUV has a top speed of 226 km/h and uses a comfort-oriented suspension setup.

For those seeking more performance, the range-topping Audi SQ5 comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine producing 362 hp, assisted by hybrid technology, and features quattro all-wheel drive. The SQ5 is also coding-exempt, which is perfect for those looking for a fun daily driver without any restrictions.

The Q5 S line variant comes equipped with a comprehensive list of exterior features, including LED headlights with high-beam control, LED rear lights, a panoramic sunroof, aluminum roof rails, and 20-inch Audi Sport wheels. Inside, it offers leather seats, power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support, ambient LED lighting, and a Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System.

Technology and convenience features include Audi drive select, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, a power-operated tailgate, and a 3-zone automatic climate control system.

Safety is a key highlight, with the Q5 Hybrid equipped with a full suite of driver-assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, front emergency brake assist, park assist plus, surround-view cameras, and multiple airbags. Additional features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and electronic stability control.
