Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, introduced the all-new Kia PV5 Cargo at the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The electric van is designed for commercial logistics and targets local enterprises.
“Building on the promise we made to Filipinos early this year, this moment marks the next major step in Kia’s brand transformation in the Philippines,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines. “We are delivering a purpose-built electric vehicle engineered to be a true mobility partner, making your fleet cleaner, smarter, and more efficient.”

Named 2026 International Van of the Year, the PV5 Cargo sits on Kia’s dedicated EV platform. It measures 4,695 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, and 1,905 mm high, with a 2,995 mm wheelbase that Kia says suits tight urban streets and narrow loading docks. Exterior features include integrated LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED rear-combination taillights, and 16-inch steel wheels with wheel caps.
Inside, the van carries up to 805 kg in a 4,420-liter cargo bay that measures 2,255 mm long, 1,565 mm wide, and 1,520 mm high. Dual-swing rear doors and a low loading height are meant to ease worksite operations. Eight heavy-duty tie-down hooks and universal L-track mounting points secure cargo.

A Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor produces 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Power comes from a 51.5 kWh NMC battery with a single-charge range of up to 384 km (NEDC), which Kia says covers daily distribution runs within Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
DC fast charging through a CCS2 port brings the battery from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes on a 350 kW charger. Standard AC charging through a Type 2 port does the same in 4 hours and 45 minutes on an 11 kW wallbox. The PV5 also has Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, which draws from the high-voltage battery and exports up to 3.6 kW to run tools, lights, and equipment at remote work sites.

Driver-assist features are part of the Kia DriveWise suite. These include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Smart Cruise Control (SCC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Lane Following Assist (LFA). The vehicle also includes Driver Attention Warning and Auto Light Control, along with Forward and Reverse Parking Distance Warning and a Rear-View Monitor for maneuvering in tight worksites. Passive safety equipment consists of front, side, and curtain airbags, plus Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and Downhill Brake Control (BDC).
The cabin features a 12.9-inch touchscreen alongside a 7.5-inch driver cluster. Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto handle navigation on the main screen. Integrated 12V power outlets and dual high-output USB-C ports keep devices charged during the workday, and the interior uses heavy-duty materials.

Every PV5 purchase ties into ACMobility’s commercial ecosystem, including ChargeFleet management, Greenstrum infrastructure support, Power-on-Wheels mobile support, and access to the nationwide Evro app charging network.
“Bringing electric mobility to local businesses helps cut operating costs and makes daily operations more efficient,” said Lopez. “The Kia PV5 gives fleet owners a practical, reliable way to switch to electric vehicles, backed by ACMobility’s nationwide charging network.”

The PV5 Cargo is priced at P2,098,000 and comes in Snow White Pearl, Steel Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl. Fleet reservations are open now at all Kia dealerships nationwide.
