Mazda Motor Corporation has announced details of its participation at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, which opens to the public on October 31, 2025, at Tokyo Big Sight.
Under the theme “The joy of driving fuels a sustainable tomorrow,” Mazda will highlight its vision of combining driving pleasure with sustainability. The company aims to contribute to a more sustainable society while continuing to deliver vehicles that inspire passion and enjoyment behind the wheel.
A key highlight of Mazda’s booth will be the world premiere of a new concept model that represents the company’s vision for future vehicles and embodies the show’s theme. Mazda will also present its proprietary CO₂ capture technology, which reduces emissions as the vehicle is driven, and algae-derived carbon-neutral fuel technologies that support Mazda’s goal of achieving a circular society. Additionally, the All-New Mazda CX-5 (European specification), first unveiled in Europe in July, will make its global public debut at the event.

Mazda will also take part in several special programs organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA):

Tokyo Future Tour 2035: Mazda will exhibit the Mazda CX-30 SeDV, an adapted model designed for drivers with disabilities. It features a manual driving system that enables acceleration and deceleration control, promoting mobility and independence.
Mobility Culture Program: The Mazda RX-7 will be displayed at the Mobility Culture Joint Exhibition. The Mazda Spirit Racing RS Future Concept (Car No. 12), currently competing in the Super Taikyu Series, will appear in the Performance Zone – Demonstration Run by Vehicles Using Next-Generation Fuels. The Mazda CX-60 and CX-80 will also be featured in the ASV Public Road Test Drive Event.
Out of KidZania in JMS 2025: In collaboration with KidZania, Mazda will offer children hands-on experiences such as sand casting, polishing, and painting in a Mazda factory-themed environment, allowing them to learn about craftsmanship and the joy of manufacturing.
Through these exhibits, Mazda reaffirms its commitment to its core value of being Human Centric—pursuing the Joy of Driving while aiming to deliver Joy of Living by creating meaningful experiences for customers in their everyday lives.
What wasn’t mentioned is anything regarding the Rotary team for Rotary development or Mazda Spirit Racing. Still, hey, we will never know until JMS 2025 is in full swing.
