Powering the Emkoo Hybrid is a parallel hybrid system using a powerful 2.0-liter ATK engine mated to a 2-speed hybrid transmission. It puts out 140 HP and a decent 180 Nm of torque. The electric motor is where it gets interesting as it makes 134 Kw and a very impressive 300 Nm of pull. The outside retains its sharp and futuristic design, highly angular, bold, and distinct from its competitors in the segment.

The Emkoo Hybrid comes with a slew of safety features that includes GAC Motor’s ADAS system such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), and Lane Keep Assist (LKA) among others.

The best news is that the Emkoo Hybrid will officially be exempted from the MMDA Coding scheme! More details will follow, but we can expect it to go on sale in the PH by June this year.
