Impressive! Over 15K Ford Territory units quickly sold in PH since 2020

Ford has reached another milestone in the country. After just 2 years since it was first introduced, the Territory has already sold more than 15,000 units. If you’re wondering why you see so many of them on the road, this is why.

The Ford Territory was first launched in the Philippines in August 2020. Since then, it has enjoyed an obvious uptrend in sales; look at how many of them are on the streets! As of September this year, there have already been 15,236 units sold.

“We are very happy to achieve another milestone for the Ford Territory in the Philippines – over 15,000 happy and proud owners all over the country. It is truly a representation of the trust that we receive from our customers and the great support from our dealers to enhance the ownership experience,” – Mike Breen, Managing Director, Ford Philippines

The small SUV segment in the PH was only “beginning” at the time of its introduction, but the Territory hit the ground running. So much so that it has retained its sales leadership with a whopping 52% market share in the first 9 months of this year, 2022. Over the last couple of years, sales have been consistently growing with 1,925 units sold by the end of 2020, 6,881 units sold in 2021, and 6,430 units sold as we speak. That translates to a 29% increase from a year ago.

“As we see more Ford Territory SUVs being driven on the road, we can’t wait to see more Filipino customers experience the amazing features and capabilities that the Ford Territory offers,” Breen added.

The first milestone of the brand’s small crossover – its 5,000th customer sale – was met in June 2021. Later on, its 8,000th customer milestone was hit in November of the very same year. At the end of the first quarter of 2022, Territory owners in the Philippines have grown to a 10,000-strong community.

To further boost its sales and expand ownership, Ford Philippines is offering a free 3-year scheduled service plan (SSP) together with a vehicle purchase. Customers can also avail of a special financing program where they can get the Territory at an all-in downpayment of PHP 149,000.

Attractive offers and competitive pricing aside, the numbers can speak for themselves. There’s no mistake that this segment has a big future ahead and with the Territory along with its competitors like the Coolray and MG ZS, the battle for (compact) crossover supremacy will only get better.

Congratulations, Ford!
