The new Land Cruiser FJ joins as the fourth member of the Land Cruiser lineup, alongside the 70, 250 and 300 Series. It is designed to deliver “Freedom & Joy” while maintaining the brand’s core strengths of reliability, durability, and off-road capability. It represents Toyota’s aim to make the Land Cruiser experience accessible to more customers worldwide.

The Land Cruiser FJ blends traditional and modern design cues in a functional package. Its square cabin emphasizes interior space and cargo capacity, while the rectangular body with chamfered edges conveys a strong and fun character. The front and rear bumpers are segmented and removable, allowing easier repairs and customization.

Inside, the cabin is designed for clarity and control in all driving conditions. The horizontal instrument panel helps drivers gauge the vehicle’s attitude, while controls are grouped to minimize eye movement. A low-set cowl and beltline improve forward visibility, enhancing both on- and off-road safety. The model also includes Toyota Safety Sense, featuring advanced systems such as the Pre-collision Safety System.

Built on the IMV platform (the same platform as found on the Innova, Hilux, Fortuner, and the Tamaraw), the Land Cruiser FJ ensures high ground clearance and strong approach angles. Its wheel articulation rivals that of the 70 Series, delivering authentic off-road performance. With a 270 mm shorter wheelbase than the 250 Series, it offers excellent maneuverability and a tight 5.5-meter turning radius. Enhanced body rigidity and underfloor bracing contribute to handling stability.

Under the hood, the Land Cruiser FJ is powered by the 2TR-FE 2.7-liter four cylinder gasoline engine making 160 hp and 246 Nm of torque.
