Porsche has unveiled the new range-topping 911 Turbo S, with an official public debut at the IAA Mobility motor show in Munich, featuring a new twin-turbo T-Hybrid powertrain. The model is available as both a coupé and cabriolet and becomes the most powerful production 911 to date.

The hybrid-assisted 3.6-liter flat-six twin-turbocharged engine produces 701 hp and 800 Nm of torque, available across 2300 to 6000 rpm. Power delivery is supported by two electric exhaust gas turbochargers and a compact 1.9 kWh battery. An eight-speed PDK gearbox with integrated electric motor sends power to all four wheels. The 911 Turbo S accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 322 km/h.

The model is also a whopping 14 seconds faster around the Nürburgring Nordschleife than its predecessor, clocking a lap time of 7:03.92 minutes during testing in late 2024. Despite the hybrid system, the car weighs only 85 kg more than the outgoing version.

Braking and handling have been upgraded with wider rear tyres, revised Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with larger discs, and electro-hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC). Aerodynamics are managed by active cooling flaps, a variable front diffuser, and an extendable rear wing, reducing drag by 10 percent compared to the previous model.

Standard equipment includes HD Matrix LED headlights, 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, PASM suspension, Sport Chrono Package, and a titanium sports exhaust. Interior details feature Turbonite accents exclusive to Turbo models, with carbon-structured trim and optional lightweight sports bucket seats. The exterior gains a wider body, redesigned rear fascia with larger ventilation openings, and new center-lock wheels.

Customers can further personalise their cars through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, with more than 100 paint-to-sample colors, carbon-fiber options, and custom interior finishes. A matching Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S watch is also available, built to order with Turbonite details and wheel-inspired winding rotors.
