MIAS 2026: BYD Philippines previews Atto 2 EV, launching later this year

BYD’s smallest electric crossover, the Atto 2 EV, will finally launch in the Philippines later this year.

BYD Philippines previewed the Atto 2 EV at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show alongside the Sealion 7 EV. With that, customers who are looking for something smaller and more affordable than the Atto 3 will soon have something to look forward to from BYD Philippines.

Since it’s only a preview, full specs for the Philippine market Atto 2 EV have yet to be released. In China, the Atto 2 comes with either a 32kWh or a 45.1kWh battery, giving the crossover an electric driving range of 280km and 380km, respectively. In other markets, there is an even larger 51.1kWh battery pack available.

Powering the Atto 2 is a single electric motor with various states of tune depending on the variant. We’ll know more once this EV makes its full debut.
