It seems the North Luzon Expressway group (NLEX) isn’t done hiking up toll fees just yet, it’s been confirmed that the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) will be increasing its toll fee by PHP 0.78 per kilometer.

In a statement issued by NLEX, the toll fee hike was approved by the toll regulatory board (TRB).

Also according to NLEX Corp., the toll increase followed regulatory procedures and underwent a thorough review. Public utility buses will still be given toll subsidies and allowed to pay the old rates for the next three months to cope with the higher toll rate for the 93.7-kilometer expressway.
