Toyota Motor Philippines, in partnership with B.LEAGUE, is inviting guests to the B.LEAGUE Finals Week Manila happening from May 21 to 24 at SM Megamall Mega Fashion Hall.
The event aims to bring Japanese professional basketball closer to Filipino fans while also marking the 70th anniversary of Japan-Philippines diplomatic relations.
A key feature of the program is the B. Hope Asia Jr. Clinic, scheduled on May 23. The clinic focuses on grassroots sports development and is part of Toyota’s efforts to support young athletes by giving them access to structured training and professional coaching.
The clinic will offer an afternoon training session for children of different skill levels, led by professional B.LEAGUE players. Filipino basketball player Kiefer Ravena, who plays for the Yokohama B-Corsairs, will serve as a guest coach.
Toyota Motor Philippines First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Elijah Marcial said the company has long supported Filipino athletes and grassroots sports development through its “Start Your Impossible” campaign. She cited past initiatives, including support for Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo’s youth gymnastics clinic, as well as environmental activities linked to para swimmer Ernie Gawilan’s advocacy, such as coastal cleanups and mangrove planting.
Marcial also noted Toyota’s continued support for Philippine basketball, including serving as the official mobility partner of Gilas Pilipinas during the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. She said the B. Hope Asia Jr. Clinic is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to grassroots sports development in the country.

Aside from basketball activities, visitors can also visit the Toyota booth to view the brand’s latest vehicle lineup. Interactive games will also be available, with prizes for participants.
