Nissan Philippines looks to unveil 4 cars at PIMS 2024

Nissan Philippines is gearing up to make a splash at the upcoming Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS 2024) by teasing four highly anticipated new models. From high-performance sports cars to family-friendly SUVs, Nissan is set to cater to a huge spectrum of automotive tastes and demands.

Nissan Z Nismo

The most low-slung silhouette of the bunch, the Z Nismo looks to be the most obvious candidate. It is the only other sports car left by Nissan that has yet to be launched in the Philippines, seeing as the regular Z and GT-R have already made their way in the country.

Being the top-dog variant for the Z, the Z Nismo makes 420hp (20 more than the regular Z) and 520 Nm of torque (a hefty 45 Nm difference from the regular Z), a faster nine-speed automatic, revised sports suspension, and more aggressive styling and aero.

Next up, would be the largest vehicle of the bunch, the recently debuted all-new Nissan Patrol looks to be making its way here in the Philippines. Those who want to read into more details about the all-new Nissan Patrol can check them out here. But for clarity, the Patrol gets more tech, more power, and better space. This could really take the battle against the ever-popular Toyota Land Cruiser.

Nissan X-Trail

It’s been a long time coming, but hopefully, the teaser does point to the Nissan X-Trail heading to the Philippine market, as it is time for Nissan to take the battle against the ever-popular Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and other hybrid crossovers in the market.

The X-Trail comes with an e-POWER and VC-Turbo drivetrain, which promises excellent fuel efficiency and power.

Nissan Magnite

Last but not least could be the Nissan Magnite. This little crossover could just be the key Nissan needs to increase its sales in the entry-level crossover category. Priced right, the Magnite could present great value for the everyday Filipino.

So what do you think? Are you excited for these possible models to come to Philippine shores?
