If you are someone who is eligible to stay in MRT-3’s priority area, then there are some things you need to bear in mind starting August 16.

To further prioritize those entitled to the priority area, MRT-3 is starting to enforce new rules for the area. The important notes from the letter shown above are as follows:
- Senior Citizens must now bring an ID to prove their age.
- PWD’s must have their PWD ID issued by the NCDA or their LGU.
- Pregnant women without a discernible baby bump must show an ID, as well as proof of their pregnancy in the form of a medical certificate or ultrasound result.
- Children under the age of seven, or 4′ tall
This stricter enforcement of the priority area will start on August 16, and we advise those eligible to ensure that they always have the necessary requirements on hand when commuting via MRT-3.
