Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines, said the Everest has given customers “the confidence and versatility to make more out of every journey.” He added: “With the latest Everest lineup, we are giving customers even more choice, technology and comfort to match the way they live, while the new Everest Platinum brings an exciting new level of power and refinement to the range.”

Four variants make up the range: the new Everest Platinum 3.0L V6 4×4, the Everest Wildtrak 2.0L Turbo 4×4, the Everest Sport+ 2.0L Turbo 4×2 and the Everest Active 2.0L Turbo 4×2.

At the top sits the Everest Platinum, powered by a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 engine producing 250PS and 600Nm of torque. Ford said the V6 powertrain improves towing capability, stability, and overall performance. The automaker also optimized the 2.0-liter diesel engine used in the other three variants, aiming to improve durability, simplify the system, boost fuel efficiency and maintain consistent performance.

A 10-speed automatic transmission is now standard across all Everest variants. On the 2.0-liter turbo models, Ford adjusted gear spacing and widened the ratio spread for smoother acceleration and more responsive performance.

Each variant targets a different type of buyer. The Everest Platinum 3.0L V6 4×4 pairs its V6 powertrain with full-time 4×4 and a seven-seat cabin featuring quilted leather seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat with memory, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. Matrix LED headlamps and 21-inch alloy wheels complete the flagship variant.

The Everest Active 2.0L Turbo 4×2 rounds out the line-up with a 12-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control and rain-sensing wipers, along with added safety features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Forward Collision Warning.
