Nice! BGC Bus adds 1 new route, updates night schedule

For those who take the BGC Bus, this is pretty good information to know. In the case of the former, the Bus can now take commuters between BGC and the LRT Gil Puyat Station. Read on to find out more.

Two stops will be utilized by the BGC Bus to bring passengers to and from the LRT Gil Puyat Station. The stops are at McKinley (MECC) and One Ayala Terminal. From there, and starting yesterday, those heading towards Gil Puyat MRT can take the bus from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM only from Monday to Friday. This is seen to help the workforce coming from the CBD to make their way to and from work and the train station.

As of posting, though, no schedule of buses has been announced.

On another note, the nighttime schedule of the BGC Bus has likewise been updated. In April, the midnight trip onwards was scheduled for every hour on the dot. This time, trips will roll out 30 minutes later, with the first trip now at 12:30 AM (from 12:00 AM last month), 1:30 AM, and so forth. Bonifacio Global City is advising those taking these late buses to plan their trips accordingly.

It’s always nice having good public transportation options. It’s even better when said public transport options make ways to bring passengers to more destinations and at the very least update commuters on their schedules and routes.

Major props to Bonifacio Global City and the BGC Bus 13 for doing both!
