BMW Philippines unveils the i4 EV Gran Coupe–Priced at P4,490,000
SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation has introduced the newest addition to the BMW i family of all-electric vehicles, presenting the BMW i4 as their most budget-friendly option to date, priced at P 4,490,000. The objective is to attract a broader audience of potential buyers interested in transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs).

Representing the essence of “Sheer Driving Pleasure” adapted for the electric era, the BMW i4 is locally available in the i4 eDrive35 variant. This model incorporates fifth-generation eDrive technology, generating 286 hp and 400 Nm of torque, powered by a 70.2-kWh battery that offers an impressive range of up to 483 kilometers on a single charge.
Built on a versatile vehicle architecture shared with the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, the BMW i4 boasts a lower center of gravity than the BMW 3 Series. Its optimized aerodynamics, featuring a 0.24 drag coefficient, long wheelbase, and wide tracks, ensure a perfect balance between agility and comfort.
While the overall design resembles the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, the BMW i4 distinguishes itself with unique BMW i Blue accents, notably on the largely blanked-off kidney grille. Standard features include 19-inch aerodynamic wheels with mixed tires, automatic LED headlights, front and rear park distance sensors, a rearview camera, an automatic tailgate, and rain-sensing wipers.
The interior seamlessly blends traditional and high-tech elements, featuring the BMW Operating System 8.5 with BMW Live Cockpit Plus, prioritizing touchscreen functionality. The BMW Curved Display integrates a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a 14.9-inch control display, all behind a glass surface angled towards the driver. Standard amenities include smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-speaker BMW HiFi system, Sensatec perforated upholstery, “Mesheffect” aluminum trim finishers, and an anthracite-colored M headliner. The driver enjoys electric seats with memory, a sports leather steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Available in Alpine White, Black Sapphire, and Skyscraper Gray, the BMW i4 eDrive35 comes with a standard 5-year or 200,000-kilometer comprehensive warranty, six years of free service, an 8-year electric battery warranty, and a complimentary BMW Wallbox Charger providing a 7 kWh power output.
