Ford Philippines has launched the F-150 truck in the 4×4 Platinum SuperCrew AT and 4×2 Lariat variants.
Powering the Ford F-150 is a 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine capable of generating 380PS of power and 637NM of torque. This is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift. The 4×4 Platinum variant also comes with an Electronic Shift-On-TheFly (ESOF) system.
On the outside, the Ford F-150 4×4 platinum features a silver mesh satin-aluminum grille and tailgate, chrome side mirror caps, door, and tailgate handles, a tailgate step with lift assist, platinum badge on the fender sides, a twin-panel moonroof, and power deployable running boards.
The inside is fitted with leather with black ash wood trim accents. The center panel and console are made with aluminum. The driver and front passenger seats have 10-way power adjustments and an ActiveMotion massage function as well.
Meanwhile, the 4×2 Lariat AT variant comes with the SPORT appearance package, which includes a body-color grille with black mesh, side mirror caps, door and tailgate handles, magnetic step bars, and SPORT box decals. Inside, the instrument panel, media bin, lid, and doors feature a unique Lariat finish while the seats are covered in leather.
As for safety, the F-150 features Pre-Collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), Lane Keeping System (LKS), and Auto-High Beam Headlamps.
It also comes with a remote start system, remote tailgate release, and an 8-inch infotainment system with AppLink, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto support. There are two smart-charging USB ports and a 10-speaker with a subwoofer sound system powered by Bang & Olufsen.
Both variants will be available starting June 25, for the following prices:
- F-150 4×4 Platinum – PHP 2,998,000
- F-150 4×2 Lariat – PHP 2,698,000
