Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has introduced the Honda City and Honda City Hatchback 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition during the launch event of the new Honda CR-V at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center.

The new variants were launched as part of the celebration marking 30 years since the Honda City was introduced in the Philippine market.
The Honda City first arrived in the Philippines in 1996 as a model originally developed for the Asian market. Since then, it has become one of HCPI’s best-selling nameplates, with more than 150,000 units sold locally.
HCPI has introduced three generations of the City in the country, along with several facelifts and special editions such as the City MUGEN Limited Edition and City 1.5 Sport CVT.
The model has also received several industry awards. In 2023, the Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI) named it Best in Sub-Compact (Cars) at the Car of the Year Awards. In 2020, the City earned the ASEAN NCAP Excellent Award – Consistent 5 Star, highlighting Honda’s safety focus and its goal of achieving a collision-free society by 2050.
Currently, the Honda City is available in S, V, and RS variants, all powered by a 1.5-liter inline-4 DOHC i-VTEC engine and equipped with Honda SENSING across the lineup.

The 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition is based on the City 1.5 S CVT Honda SENSING and adds black exterior accents, including:
Black door mirrors and outer handles
Black front grille
Black alloy wheels
The City 1.5 S CVT Honda SENSING 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition is priced at PHP 1,039,000.
The Honda City Hatchback was introduced in the Philippines in 2021, expanding the City lineup into the B-segment hatchback category. Since launch, it has sold over 3,700 units and has received awards and accolades during its time.
The City Hatchback 1.5 RS CVT 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition adds several sporty accessories, including:
Black Honda badge and City emblem
Front under spoiler and center garnish
Front fog garnish
Tailgate spoiler garnish
Extended rear bumper
Exhaust pipe finisher
Rear under spoiler
The variant is priced at PHP 1,279,000.
Both anniversary variants are offered exclusively in Platinum White Pearl and include a dedicated 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition emblem. The color is offered at a lower cost compared to selecting it on standard variants.
To support the launch, HCPI is offering “Smart Start Deals” in partnership with BPI, RCBC, and Security Bank, providing more flexible payment options for a limited time.
Customers can view the new CR-V and the City and City Hatchback 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition models at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center (Glorietta 2, Makati City) until February 10, 2026. The models are also expected to be available through Honda Cars dealerships nationwide.
