
Mercedes-Benz Philippines has officially introduced the new Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e with EQ Hybrid Technology, a plug-in hybrid SUV that combines performance, efficiency, and luxury. This is the third PHEV they have launched in the country, signifying confidence in the fast-growing electrified market.

The GLE 400 e features an AMG Line exterior highlighted by a diamond grille with a Mercedes-Benz chrome pattern, 21-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels, and MULTIBEAM LED headlamps that adjust to driving conditions for improved visibility.



Inside, the SUV is equipped with the MBUX multimedia system, featuring a widescreen cockpit and Augmented Reality Navigation. The cabin features Mercedes’ proprietary ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfiber upholstery, complemented by a Burmester surround sound system. Electrically adjustable front and rear seats with memory functions, along with a spacious cargo area, further enhance comfort and practicality.




Convenience and safety technologies include the Transparent Bonnet feature for enhanced off-road visibility, Active Parking Assist, a 360-degree camera, the PRE-SAFE system, and Active Brake Assist.



Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor, producing 252 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The plug-in hybrid system supports AC charging up to 11 kW and offers an all-electric range of about 100 km. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and DYNAMIC SELECT drive modes offers adaptability and enhanced safety for a variety of driving conditions.


The GLE 400 e with EQ Technology is priced at PHP 5,790,000.

Mercedes-Benz will showcase the new model alongside the GLC 350 e Plug-in Hybrid SUV at the Plug-in Hybrid Display event from September 26 to 28, 2025, at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall, South Court.
