In line with this fare price adjustment, it’s been reported that the MRT-3 will also be putting a petition forward to up its rates. The target increase for the base fare is PHP 2.29 and an additional PHP 0.21 for every added kilometer traveled. While it may not be welcome news, perhaps it was also to be expected.
