Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan Motorsport & Customization Co., Ltd. (NMC) announced on September 17 that this year’s 2025 NISMO Festival will not be held.

The NISMO Festival, first organized in 1997, has been staged 25 times as a motorsport fan appreciation event. It has served as a way for Nissan to thank supporters of its motorsports activities, with planning and operations led by employees from the NMC NISMO office.

Organizers said they had been exploring possible content and management approaches for the 2025 edition, but determined it would be difficult to proceed as usual. As a result, the event has been postponed.

Nissan added that it will use this break to review the festival’s content and management structure, to resume it in a form that fans can continue to enjoy.
