One of the hallmark events for Japanese manufacturers is the Japan Mobility Show (formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show). This a chance for the brands to showcase their future products and give a peek into how the brand plans to transform itself, Nissan is choosing to do so as well by focusing on its EV future.
Nissan to showcase EVs at Japan Mobility Show
The 2023 edition of the Japan Mobility Show is set for October 25 to November 5 and is actually the first installment of the new type of show for Japan. Instead of focusing on the now, organizers and brands alike decided to showcase more sustainable mobility offerings to keep up with the changing times.
Nissan said that they will be digitally and physically unveiling EV concepts one by one starting on the first day. According to the brand, these concepts aim to empower journeys and society and are designed to meet the shifting demands of the environment. Apart from the EV concepts, there will also be interactive activities in the booth including a driving simulator that’s supposed to mimic an e-FORCE all-wheel-drive control driving simulator for visitors to try out.
Other vehicle displays include the of course the GT-R and the Z in special edition Nismo guise. Making an appearance also are the Ariya, Formula E race car, special edition Kicks, LEAF, Sakura, Serena, and Aura.
