Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has officially launched the new Hyundai STARGAZER, a refreshed version of its popular MPV built to meet the evolving needs of Filipino families. The updated model features a bolder design, enhanced comfort, improved connectivity, and advanced safety features. The launch event was held at the Okada Manila Ballroom, with members of the Hyundai STARGAZER Club Philippines joining a car club display at the Okada Boardwalk Seaside.

The new STARGAZER adopts Hyundai’s latest SUV-inspired design, in what they call a “Sheriff-style” front lighting setup and an updated H-signature LED rear light bar with blockier LEDs. The STARGAZER X variant comes with a functional bridge-type roof rail capable of carrying up to 100 kg for added utility.
Built on a class-leading 2,780 mm wheelbase and fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, the STARGAZER offers improved stability and cabin space. Power comes from a peppy Smartstream 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque, with a claimed fuel efficiency rating of 16.95 km/L.
Inside, the STARGAZER provides a spacious cabin with generous legroom across all rows. The flexible 60:40 split-folding and full-flat seat configuration allows up to 1,892 liters of cargo space.
Hyundai has equipped the new model with two 10.25-inch displays, including a digital instrument cluster with Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and an infotainment screen supporting Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional features include automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad for higher variants, new ambient lighting, and improved noise insulation for a quieter cabin experience.
The updated STARGAZER adds more Hyundai SmartSense safety technologies, including Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Following and Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist. The STARGAZER X variant also comes with six SRS airbags for added occupant protection.
Pricing and Variants
The new Hyundai STARGAZER is available in four variants:
STARGAZER 1.5 GL Plus IVT – ₱1,118,000
STARGAZER 1.5 GLS IVT – ₱1,228,000
STARGAZER X 1.5 GLS Plus IVT – ₱1,318,000
STARGAZER X 1.5 Premium IVT – ₱1,378,000
Color options include Dragon Red Pearl, Magnetic Silver Metallic, Creamy White Pearl, Titan Gray Metallic, and Midnight Black Pearl. The STARGAZER X is offered in exclusive two-tone combinations with a black roof: Creamy White Pearl, Magnetic Silver Metallic, and Dragon Red Pearl.
For added peace of mind, Hyundai offers a worry-free ownership package that includes free one-year Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) and free pick-up and delivery for PMS and general repairs. This is complemented by Hyundai’s five-year warranty, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to reliable service and customer care.
