Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially introduced the All-New Mitsubishi Destinator after a myriad of teasers. The new 7-seater SUV is designed for families seeking a mix of practicality, capability, and premium features. Positioned as a versatile option for daily use and long trips, the Destinator aims to cater to growing and adventure-oriented Filipino households.

The Destinator features a full-SUV stance, with a wide body and strong proportions. It carries Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield front fascia, paired with LED headlamps and daytime running lights. The model also features sleek character lines along the sides and 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, giving it a clean, modern appearance. It definitely looks bigger and longer than it actually is.

Under the hood is a new 1.5-liter 4B40 turbocharged engine rated at 163 PS and 250 Nm. It also offers best-in-class ground clearance of 214 mm. The model offers five drive modes—Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, and a new Tarmac Mode—taking cues from Mitsubishi’s rally background, including the Lancer Evolution. AYC or “Active Yaw Control also helps the Destinator corner better.

The Destinator is the first Mitsubishi in the Philippines to feature Mitsubishi Connect, a Connected Car Services (CCS) platform that provides added security and convenience. The SUV also achieved a 5-Star rating in the ASEAN NCAP safety assessment.

Additional safety technologies include Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing (MMSS) with a Multi-Around Monitor to assist in maneuvering and hazard detection.

The cabin accommodates seven passengers with flexible seating and cargo arrangements. The interior uses high-quality materials and an ergonomic layout. A monolithic display houses the 12.3-inch Smartphone Display Audio with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with an 8-inch Multi-Information Display.

Premium interior features include:
Smart Rear View Mirror
64-color ambient lighting
Panoramic sunroof
8-speaker Yamaha Dynamic Sound audio system
Seatback tables for second-row passengers
Nanoe™X air purification
Cooling function in the center console
