Isuzu Motors Limited and UD Trucks Corporation have announced their participation in the Japan Mobility Show 2025, set for October 30 to November 9 at Tokyo Big Sight. The joint booth will highlight both brands under the theme “Move the World, Envision a Colorful Future,” reflecting the Isuzu Group’s mission of “Moving the World – for You.” The exhibit will demonstrate how the group envisions the evolution of transport and logistics toward a sustainable and connected future.
VCCC (Vertical Core Cycle Concept) – World Premiere

Making its global debut, the VCCC introduces a modular “Vertical Core” platform that can be configured for various uses—from business to community transport. The design allows vehicles to be rearranged using interchangeable components, improving flexibility and efficiency while promoting sustainable mobility systems.
Multi-Fuel Engine – World Premiere

Developed as part of Isuzu’s carbon neutrality strategy, the new multi-fuel engine shares core parts with conventional diesel engines but can operate on several fuel types, including diesel, natural gas, hydrogen, biofuels, and synthetic fuels. This approach offers an efficient, adaptable path toward lower emissions alongside electrification efforts.
Isuzu ELF EV Garbage Truck

Based on the light-duty ELF EV, this all-electric garbage truck uses Isuzu’s proprietary electric PTO system to power auxiliary equipment. It maintains the performance of conventional diesel trucks while operating quietly and emitting no tailpipe emissions, ideal for urban use. This could be a game changer, more particularly for residential uses for less noise and pollution.
Isuzu GIGA – World Premiere

Isuzu’s heavy-duty GIGA truck debuts with its first major redesign in nearly a decade. It gains upgraded safety systems such as pre-crash braking for turns, side collision mitigation, and wheel detachment detection. The lineup includes Japan’s only 25-ton low-floor, three-axle truck, designed to improve logistics efficiency.
UD Quon GW 6×4

Featuring a 13-liter, 530 PS engine and a 12-speed automatic transmission, this heavy-duty tractor emphasizes power and driver comfort. Technologies like UD Active Steering, full-wheel disc brakes, and a high-capacity hydraulic retarder enhance handling and safety. The model is part of UD Trucks’ 90th Anniversary Commemorative Package.
UD Quester (2026 Model) – World Premiere

Designed for emerging markets, the next-generation Quester meets Euro 6 emissions standards and delivers improved uptime, fuel efficiency, and total cost of ownership with an 11-liter engine and 12-speed automatic transmission.
Isuzu ERGA EV Autonomous Bus – World Premiere

Built on Japan’s first BEV full-flat-floor route bus launched back in Japan Mobility Show 2023, this prototype integrates autonomous-driving functions using cameras, LiDAR, and radar. It delivers smooth, quiet operation for a comfortable passenger experience.
Isuzu D-MAX EV

We are finally seeing the production version of the Isuzu D-MAX EV, along with which markets it will be available in the future. Further information may be available during the Japan Mobility Show 2025.
Tokyo Future Tour 2035
Isuzu will join this immersive showcase that imagines mobility in Tokyo a decade from now, highlighting future technologies across land, sea, and air.
Mobility Culture Program
Exhibits will include working vehicles such as the Forward Rescue Vehicle for disaster response, the Quon CW 6×4 dump truck for construction, and the SM40S snow vehicle developed for Antarctic exploration. The booth will also feature classic Isuzu models, such as the FF Gemini and VehiCROSS, to illustrate the brand’s diverse mobility heritage.
