Monterey Car Week 2024: Lamborghini unveils the Temerario, the successor to the Huracan
Automobili Lamborghini has introduced the Temerario, a twin-turbo V8 hybrid super sports car, at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week in California. The Temerario, successor to the Huracán, boasts 907 hp (920 CV), a top speed of over 340 km/h, and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds. It is Lamborghini’s second High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) and marks the completion of the company’s hybrid lineup, following the Revuelto and the Urus SE, and is of course the successor to the Huracan.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, stated, “Every new Lamborghini must surpass its predecessors in performance.” The Temerario, capable of reaching 10,000 rpm, is the first production super sports car to achieve this, typically only seen in motorsports.
Winkelmann added, “The Temerario exceeds our expectations for mid-engine sports cars in performance and design, completing the hybridization of our full product line as part of our Direzione Cor Tauri plan.”
The full hybrid lineup, including the Revuelto and Urus SE, was also showcased at the event. The Revuelto features a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 1,015 CV and a top speed of 350 km/h. The Urus SE has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 800 CV, reaching 312 km/h.
The Temerario also debuted virtually in the Lamborghini Lab on Roblox, where users can customize and race their own version of the supercar.
