In recent weeks, fuel prices have been fluctuating. We’ve been experiencing small and medium increments of either roll-backs or increases in prices.

It seems though, that a big-time price increase is expected to hit sometime next week. According to a post on the GMA News Networks Facebook page, Oil Industry Management Bureau Director Rino Abad confirmed it in an interview with DZBB.

The following is the range of the expected increase for both Gasoline and Diesel:

Diesel – P4.20 – P4.40 per liter increase
Gasoline – P3.10 – P3.30 per liter increase

Once this fuel price hike takes effect, Diesel could remain the more expensive fuel as compared to Gasoline. In any case, all motorists should brace themselves and stay tuned for more updates.
