Today’s fuel price increase is pretty significant. Motorists are definitely going to feel the pinch with gas prices going up by PHP 1.90 and diesel by PHP 2.10. The varied movements in the past month saw its share of increases, but this week, those who own diesel-powered vehicles should brace themselves when they go to the stations to top up.

As always, though, Cleanfuel, is updating later in the day. This is a slight reprieve for the brand’s patrons as they will be adjusting their gas and diesel fuel prices at 4:01 PM.

We do expect changes in fuel prices every Tuesday, but today’s news isn’t exactly good. At this point, we are unsure of how the market will adjust for next week’s prices, so until then, we’ll just have to plan our travels as best we can. Another price hike next week would be a big blow to motorists and their wallets, so best be frugal; especially with the sporadic rains that cause traffic jams everywhere.

In the meantime, to get the best of every time you fill your fuel tank, here are some fuel-saving tips we’ve compiled for you. May your routes be clear and your gas and diesel use be efficient this week, ladies and gents!
