GWM Philippines has appointed MJ Del Pilar as its new Sales Director as the company continues to expand its presence in the local market.

Del Pilar brings 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a background in automotive sales operations, dealer network development, retail strategy, and performance-driven sales management. His appointment is part of the company’s effort to strengthen its leadership team and support ongoing growth.

In his new role, Del Pilar will oversee nationwide sales operations, dealer performance, strategic sales planning, and revenue growth initiatives.

The move comes as GWM Philippines expands its lineup of SUVs and pickup trucks, including the recently launched GWM Haval H9 and GWM Cannon.

Dax Avenido, Brand Head of GWM Philippines, said Del Pilar’s experience and leadership will support the company’s expansion plans and help improve sales performance nationwide. He added that the company is continuing to grow its dealer network and product portfolio.

Del Pilar said he is joining the company at a key stage of its development, noting the brand’s global presence and product lineup. He said he plans to work closely with dealer partners and internal teams to strengthen market presence and drive growth.

The appointment reflects GWM Philippines’ focus on building an experienced management team as it pursues its expansion plans for 2026 and beyond.
