Will the “mystery” Honda SUV RS Concept finally make its official debut?

The Honda SUV RS Concept was first previewed at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) last year. After its promotional roadshow across Indonesia, it practically vanished. Exactly a month ago, it reappeared at this year’s GIIAS. Things might’ve been kicked into high gear because this time, Honda Indonesia announced that they will be unveiling a “new RS model”.

Honda SUV RS Concept =?= WR-V =/= Raize, Stonic Fighter?

We did say “teasers”, right? There aren’t any full or clear photos of what it is that they’re launching, but Honda Indonesia made it pretty clear that it’s going to happen on November 2, 2022. That’s just a few days from now. We previously said that this model may take the fight to the competition such as the Toyota Raize and the Kia Stonic, and if this is indeed going to be the production model of the SUV RS, then it’s about time.

Unless we miss our guess, its official name might be the WR-V. That badge/model is already being sold in other markets and if we were to look at its photos and compare it to the camouflaged photo you see above, it’s not too different. It’s small, it’s a crossover, and it has the same grill shape as the other Honda vehicles in the lineup, so that’s pretty possible.

While we can all throw our speculations, we won’t be left hanging for too long. With about 5 days to go, the internet’s bound to go pretty wild with guesses, fearless forecasts, and maybe even leaks of the official Honda SUV RS vehicle itself. Things are going to be exciting until the launch date.

If we manage to get more information, we’ll keep you abreast, dear readers. We’re just as curious and giddy as you are, we’re sure!
