Hyundai Motor Philippines partners in co-presenting the 2023 BGC Passionfest on November 25-26, 2023

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) is set to be one of the main contributors to this year’s Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Passionfest, a vibrant outdoor celebration scheduled for November 25 to 26. After a four-year hiatus, the event is making a comeback, promising an engaging fusion of food, games, art, and culture. This year’s festivities theme is ‘glocal,’ a term reflecting the rich and diverse characteristics of the local residents, known as “BGCitizens.”

The heart of the celebration will be Bonifacio High Street (BHS), where Hyundai will play a significant role in various specially curated activities. Along 5th Avenue, visitors can explore Hyundai’s range of intelligent and sustainable vehicle models. Highlighted among these are the latest multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs), the New Custin and Stargazer X. Complementing these are familiar models such as the Creta, Tucson, and the Staria, now available in a 9-seater variant. Notably, the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6, both consecutive winners of the World Car of The Year (WCOTY) award and electric vehicles (EVs), will be available for test drives during the two-day celebration.

Hyundai is extending its presence to the 30th Street East Open Parking Lot, where the brand hosts the Grand Before Service Activity. Open to all vehicle owners, irrespective of the car brand. Attendees can benefit from a complimentary 23-point car checkup with vehicle disinfection courtesy of Bactakleen. Moreover, participants can claim a Php 500 Shell fuel voucher and a limited-edition Hyundai-branded tumbler.

Expressing enthusiasm for their involvement in BGC Passionfest, Mr. Dongwook Lee, President of HMPH, emphasizes Hyundai’s commitment to engaging with the local community. As part of the world’s third-largest automaker, Hyundai aims to connect with its market on a personal level, seeking opportunities like this fiesta to understand and connect with Filipino customers. Lee believes that true progress for humanity can only be achieved by immersing the company in the communities they wish to serve, offering innovative mobility solutions.

The celebration kicks off with a Passion Parade on the opening day, taking place from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, featuring a prominent Hyundai fleet. The procession, starting at 9th Avenue, culminates at 5th Avenue, where the Music Festival unfolds from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, featuring performances by DJ Honey and The Diegos.
