This is the 2025 Toyota Camry

The Toyota Camry is one of those legacy models, it is instantly recognizable in any region of the world it’s sold in. This popularity has always helped it continue to produce strong sales for the brand, but the current model has been around for quite some time now and a refresh is due.

Thankfully we no longer have to speculate as to when and what the all-new Camry is, because the 9th generation has just been revealed for the U.S. market (rightfully so given the strong sales in the U.S.).

Lookswise, as expected it adopts the brand’s new “hammerhead” design language already present in the Prius and Crown models, with the c-shaped lights and the sleek minimalist-looking front fascia. The side and the rear profiles are actually still similar to the current generation but with slight tweaks just to update the overall look.

It’s inside where the brand really went all-in in terms of updates, the design is still a pleasant mix of modern luxury. The seats are fitted with sofTex materials, and the design of the dashboard incorporates more fancy updates like the swooping lines that connect the airconditioning vents and the center stack where the massive infotainment screen is located. That screen is an updated unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the new digital instrument cluster is a big 10-inch unit.

Of course, the new Camry comes with the patented Toyota Safety Sense system with safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and more.

In terms of powertrains, the Camry will be exclusively available as a hybrid only. It will be powered by a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter gasoline engine and is paired with the new Toyota 5th generation hybrid system. Power output is a combined 225 HP for the front-wheel-drive version and 232 HP for the all-wheel-drive version. The adoption of the electric-on-demand all-wheel-drive system is a first for the Camry model.

No price has been confirmed just yet, with the brand only saying that the all-new Camry is set to hit showroom floors this Spring of 2024 in the U.S.
