LRT-2 operations temporarily suspended

LRT-2 management has just announced that operations of the LRT-2 are temporarily suspended.

The LRT-2 management only cited that there is a “technical problem” and that “intervention is currently ongoing”. According to an interview, LRTA spokesperson Ernando Cabrera stated that “code red” was issued around 9:54 AM. A “code red” means that all LRT-2 operations will be suspended, with trains unloading its passengers at the nearest station. Any passenger will be denied entry into the station as well.

There’s no official word yet on when operations will resume.
