LTO extends validity of registration of motor vehicles

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has announced the extended validity of registration of motor vehicles with plate numbers ending in 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0 for 2020.

According to the DOTr, the extension was issued to avoid congestion at the LTO Offices for the expected rush for renewal of expired and expiring vehicle registrations and also to observe well-ordered processing of transactions. This is also to implement strict health and safety protocols following the guidelines set by the IATF-EID.

According to the advisory, motor vehicles with plate numbers that end in 6, 7 & 8 will be extended until October 30, 2020, while the registration validity of motor vehicles with plate numbers ending in 9 and 0, will be extended up to December 31, 2020.

Bakit sa motor vehicles lang po ang me extension, paano naman yung sa renewal ng drivers license below 20 yrs and seniors , hindi sila pede lumabas para makapag parenew?

You should to tell your people who implementing the traffic rule in the street,, like the police and other people who implement the traffic rule,, they dont know the extension from the lto,, sad to say specially some few police officer they dont know any extension for renewal coming from lto. Idiots police officer.

Dapat yung tungkol isinulong ng isang mambabatas patungkol po sa 2nd owner ng isang motor vehicles na ma transfer agad dapat sa 2021 na kahit mga bandang oct. Why dont they extend the validity of car or motor registration upto 2 or 4 years as the feo had done on firearm licenses. This will be more comfortable on us owners of vehicle instead of the yearly renewal of registration.
