San Miguel Corporation has recently announced the deadline extension for installing Autosweep RFIDs to vehicles.
Motorists may now get their free Autosweep RFID stickers until November 30 to cater to more people who frequently drive on Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR), South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), the Skyway System, NAIA Expressway, and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) which recently announced the implementation of electronic toll collection by November 2020.
With the extension, vehicles without RFID will still be allowed to enter the expressways from November 2 to November 30, 2020. SMC reiterates that November 30 will be the absolute deadline for the installation. Those without RFID stickers will not be allowed to enter SMC-operated tollways, including Skyway, SLEX, NAIAX, STAR Tollways, and TPLEX after the said date.
