A better ownership experience is what the FordPass app and Ford PH promise

As Ford Philippines celebrated its 25th anniversary, they announced that FordPass will soon be available to their customers in the country. The app enables owners to get access to brand- and vehicle-specific content, support, and functions via their mobile phone, and with it, Ford sees it as an important tool in providing a better ownership experience.

FordPass app will be available for download next month

FordPass is an application that customers can install on their mobile devices. With it, they will have access to vehicle-specific content and support. Customers whose vehicles are equipped with FordPass Connect, or a cellular modem that contains an e-SIM that enables the vehicle to connect to the internet, can also access remote control functionalities such as remote start/stop, lock/unlock, and fuel level check.

“FordPass will drive the future of the Ford ownership experience, and we’re very excited to finally be able to launch it in the Philippines to benefit our customers who are technologically savvy and always on the go. With FordPass, it’s like having a personal assistant for your Ford vehicle. We leverage on connectivity to offer our customers a smarter and simpler way of owning a Ford.” – Mike Breen, Managing Director, Ford Philippines

Ford may be out to set a precedence or redefinition of its service to customers in the Philippines. Convenience goes a long way, and if there’s a way you can find your car, book a service appointment, lock and unlock your doors, start your engine and cool the cabin, and be given instant information on your car’s status, then that would be awesome.

FordPass can do just that and more. And if you happen to be a next-generation Ford Ranger and next-generation Ford Everest owner, you will be able to download and access the app starting December 2, 2022. While we have no word on whether other models will have access to the app, we can all hope so. After all, convenience and good ownership experience are something all customers old and new alike look for and deserve, right?
