Grab has begun refunding its customers as part of its compliance with the Philippine Competition Commission’s sanctions.
To check if you have received your GrabPay refund, head over to your Grab inbox and check if you received the “Redeem your GrabPay voucher.” message. From there, you can tap on the Redeem Now button on the bottom of the page, which will redirect you to your claimable vouchers. If you’ve used Grab from February 10 to May 10, you’re eligible for a PHP 1 refund for every PHP 1,200 spent. Using the service from May 11 to August 11 will entitle you to a PHP 1 refund for every PHP 450 spent. Disbursements are only available for GrabCar rides in Manila and for passengers who completed the basic Know-Your-Customer process in GrabPay wallets from February 10 to August 11.
