LTFRB announces flagdown fare hike for taxi services nationwide

The Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has issued an advisory announcing the flagdown fare hike for taxi services nationwide.

Effective February 13, 2017, the provisional authorized flagdown fare for taxi services nationwide, except Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), is Php40.00 for the first Five Hundred (500) meters.

CAR, on the other hand, will have a provisional authorized flagdown fare of Php35.00 for the first Four Hundred (400) meters.

Hindi naman din nila sinusunod yung 30 flagdown dati. Pinagtatanggal din naman nila yung sticker notifying us of the reduction after Christmas. Meron pa ngang nagsabi sakin noon na wala na daw discount. Manloloko talaga yung iba.

LOL hindi naman din ramdam ang 30php na flag down rate last year (around march 2016?), minsan nanghihinga pa ng dagdag.
