Cavite’s Governor Boying Remulla posted an appeal to the Department of Transportation (DoTr) regarding the operations of the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX).
In the letter posted via the governor’s official Facebook account, he wrote that while the PITX may be able to help ease the worsening traffic in Metro Manila, its newly-established operations are affecting those coming from and going to Cavite. He appealed that there should be measures taken to help individuals’ commuting become convenient instead of bothersome.
Remulla proposed four temporary measures to support his cause, including:
- Permitting buses, regardless of franchise, to enter Metro Manila until the vehicle’s terminal point to pick up and drop off passengers
- Requiring all public vehicles bound for Cavite to pick up passengers at PITX
- For the government to provide shuttle services to and from PITX to and from different points of Metro Manila, particularly in the business/working sectors
- And to link the shuttle services to the train services such as the LRT, MRT, and PNR
Remulla also proposed that Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) approve the pending applications for franchises of public utility vehicles and to issue more PUVs to meet commuting demands. He also added that the implementation of the LRT Line 1 Extension Project should be fast-tracked to provide commuters another means of transportation.
The PITX opened to the public last November 2018.

maski ito lang sana ehh… magkaron lang ng shuttle (madaming shuttle) from PITX to this points… or maski PITX to PASAY ROTONDA
