As far as big SUVs go, the Nissan Patrol has always been a top choice. But for those who want more oomph in their trucks, there’s the NISMO version of the famed SUV. Can you get it in the Philippines? Well, not exactly. If the Nissan North Edsa dealership has something to say about it, you can get halfway there with their latest offer, though.

It was a little bit too good to be true for a real-deal Patrol NISMO to cost a shade below PHP 5M. That’s because it is. The confusing part here is that the caption of Nissan North Edsa referred to the Patrol NISMO, but in the photo you see above, it states “with Body Kit”. The photo is what’s right.
After confirming, no the NISMO version is not for sale at what would have been this steal of a price, but you can get the full exterior kit to make yours look the part.

The whole kit includes the front bumper grill, the front and rear bumpers, fender flares, front fog lamps complete with their wiring harness and clips, Nissan and NISMO Patrol emblems, fog lamp covers, a front chin and skid plate, rear bumper valence pieces, and the step boards.
Depending on the color of your existing unit, having these pieces painted by the dealership will probably be included in the cost, which we’ll get to right below.

The Patrol Royale retails for PHP 4,698,000, and the cost of NISMO’fying it will entail a PHP 301,000 difference. Considering that you get none of the NISMO goodies such as an up-rated engine, Bilstein suspension, better brakes, and a different interior, that is pretty costly. But then again if you do have a surplus of cash and just want to kit out your Patrol, at least now you know where to get the pieces from.
We all know the saying that if it’s too good to be true, it probably is. You almost had us there, Nissan North EDSA. But see, it does pay to check on these things. We’ll just keep dreaming right here.
