The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato “Goes Beyond Concrete”, launched in PH

When it comes to extremes some brands really stand out, Lamborghini throughout its history hasn’t been afraid to create wild and unbelievable special editions.

The latest creation takes a page out of the world of rallying, say hello to the Lamborghini Sterrato, and it’s now available in the Philippines.

The Sterrato takes cues from the popular Porsche 911 Dakar with the same concept for enabling owners to go do high-performance off-roading. The difference between the two is that the Dakar is based on an old Paris-Dakar 911 that competed in the treacherous rally before, the Sterrato came out of nowhere and shocked the world when it was announced.

The Sterrato is supposed to provide enhanced performance, balance, and capability on all types of surfaces and conditions. The drive modes have expanded from the traditional Strada, and Sport to now offering also a Rally mode.

Outside is where most of the changes are evident, with bigger and wider wheel arches that exude a rugged look not usually found on a Huracan. The Sterrato has an increased ground clearance of 44mm for better suspension travel, while the front (+30mm) and rear (+34mm) track widths have also been increased.

A lot of additional protection has been added to the under chassis of the Sterrato with an aluminum front underbody, and reinforced sills. The most interesting design and functional update is the roof air intake which was placed there to better allow clean air to go straight into the engine without much dust or dirt.

Speaking of the engine, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is powered by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 that shoves out 610 HP and 560 Nm of torque. Shifting is done by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, additionally, the power is sent to all four wheels and there is a rear mechanical self-locking differential.
